Let them fly; if you're lucky, you can get your plane back to the carrier. It may take more than 8 missiles so load up a 2nd Manta in case. Once the CC is destroyed, you'll get a message that " is now a neutral island!" and you can send in a tank with a CC module to make it your own. This is not the best way; a Virus bomb will take over the island to be your own and will not destroy the island's current production (as the former method, quick & dirty, will). However, deploying a Virus bomb is TOUGH. You can also back the carrier as close as it'll get to the shore where the CC is, and use the missiles, but it's a lot faster to use the Mantas, and, in this game, speed is of the essence--the enemy carrier is a LOT faster than you are...The Action Game, BTW, is simply the Strategic Game after about 3 hours of play.
