Hi,  I have two A2000's sharing 4 Hard Drives a Worm Drive, A printer
and other sund equipment. I am using ParNet by Doug Walker and John
Toebes of The Software Distillery. You have to build a special cable for
the parallell port but it is not difficult if you get screw connected DB25
cables.  I also have the PrinterFace from Interactive Video Systems.
714-890-7040.  They sell it for around 80.00 US dollars.  It goes into
the 68000 socket and has a db25 on a ribbon cable that runs to the out
side world through one of the CPU slot back doors.  BTW the 68000 goes into
the printerface board.  At first I had my HP Paintjet connected to the 
printerface but I realized that it is pretty fast and got another one for
the other 2000 and that is how I work the Parnet.  This gives me excellant
results for copying files from and too and aso using the printer that connects
to the regular parralell port on the Amiga.  The Printerface comes with 
software to change the regular prt:PAR: or to patch individual programs to 
use the appropriate port.  It is really nice if you have an audio/video
digitizer and wish to use a printer at the same time.  You can also use two
printerfaces for a total of three Pallel posrt on one Amiga.

	As to the Parnet there are a couple of ways to configure it, and by
using Locks and other safeguards you can let neophyte computer people have 
access to your system remotel. One 2000 is used for teaching AmigaDos and 
I have the entire Fish Library on it.  I can let the user have access to it an
worry about my other Drives at all as they are locked.
