We are talking about the AMD 29000 32-bit CPU, not the 2901 bit-slice, and certainly not the 29116 (gee, I got one of those in my VME video controller...;'). Probably many of the folks around here never new the 2901's exsisted... In any case, were not the 2901/29116 pretty much past their prime when the 68020 rolled out?
