Ok, here's the situation.  The latest ROMs are the 6.1 revisions.
These ROMs support two drives.  If you don't have the 6.1 ROMs,
then go to your dealer and demand to see the April-May 90 tech
notes.  Find the second article about the ROMs. It tells about
a free in-warranty upgrade because there is a problem with the
Western Digital Controller chip which doesn't work with two drives
without the upgraded ROM.
