I was thinking maybe parallel processing, andhaving an MC680x0, as well 
as a RISC chip. The obvious choice, IMHO, is a SPARC, sinceit's real 
close to Motorola chips. (And was based on the 680x0). SOmeone suggested 
using a program to detect which CPU the software was for, and then the OS 
could justrun the program on the appropriate CPU. If Commodore did 
something like that, then full parallel processing wouldn't be far off 
for the masses.
