    As you have discovered, the fused Ultimate-Weapon-thingy is what you need
to demolish the shadowy dude.  According to my DM tip sheet, you have to use a
Magical Box thingy to sort of "freeze" him, then use Cage on him, run around
to the other side of him (the black fuzzy side), Cage him again, then Fuse the
whole contraption together.  Bingo, Chaos is history!  Hope you understand
what I mean by all those "thingies"... ;-)

    You should try killing the dragon.  It's worth it (especially when you're
dying of hunger, hint, hint...)
