How about the Video Overlay Card? Where's the Mac equivalent? how about Synthlab or Soundsmith? The Mac doesn't have the sound capabilities of the GS. there's a new version of GScii that works I don't see any advantage to a GS version of proterm. I think term programs that use GUIs are evil. Not to mention, Proterm is really fast. a GS specific version would have to deal with a lot of overhead. I don't use Kermit. It's a nice program but I hate Kermit (the protocol). besides, the Mac costs lot more and I'm not willing to spend that much money on a Mac II when better machines based on the same microprocessor are less expensive. I got my GS at a really great price. probably at about $1500 (or maybe more) less than a comparable system would cost today. Collin Douglas cbdougla@uokmax.ecn.uoknor.edu
