Does anyone know of a >stand-alone program which just formats a RAMdisk? If you are doing this from ProDOS, then the RAMFactor will format itself automatically when ProDOS boots and you will be able to put files on it right away. It won't boot, however, but that can be fixed from an exec file (I did it from a startup menu written in basic). If you're using DOS 3.3, IN#n formats the ramdisk and a program on the AE disk called INSTALL DOS will make it bootable (it can be run by an exec file). Mail me if you need details.
