Message-ID: <1990Oct29.041459.11480@nmt.edu> Date: 29 Oct 90 04:14:59 GMT Organization: New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology Lines: 19 Is it possible (and easy) to just install a Teac DS drive in my 520STfm? I realize that I'll have to do some work on the case to get it to fit, but since the drives are fairly cheap, I thought it might be a cheap upgrade so I can get rid of my SS drive. If it'll work with little modification, could anyone give me specific model numbers to try. If a Teac won't work, then could someone tell me what would work...cheaply. (I've got poor college student syndrome -- std. 520stfm w/mono monitor!) Also, I saw in a UK mag that there is an easy SIMM memory upgrade for ST's. It's made Evesham Micros. Does anyone know if there is a US distributor for it? Prices? Reviews? Comments? Thanks. Email your responses to: eahsnsr@JUPITER.nmt.edu Eric HOBBS!
