     I'm thinking about adding some graphics to a program that so
far has been fully text based and running as a TTP file.  I know
that I can do this on the low level, but I was wondering if it
is possible to call GEM functions from a program that was already
launched as a TTP program?  Sounds unlikely, but I haven't found
a specific discussion of the problem in my reference books.
