 A number of years ago I added a hard disk to my Rainbow A, and the kit
included a B power supply.  I kept the original AC fan to
reduce the load on the power supply.  The B power supply has
connectors for either an AC or DC fan, as I recall (without
dismantling my Rainbow to check).
