These utilities were made available by H. J. Gray (I don't know him; just his name); the copy I saw had a date of 2 Jan 1989. The distribution was public domain (not even share-ware), and was on the bulletin board as DECON.ARC. (I think it may have been on Kurt's POTOGOLD Board, not sure). If you don't already have it stashed somewhere, I will try to locate it, upload for Kurt to make available again. Howard L. I have used various IBM keyboards to communicate with the VAX SEDT, found that I needed to make an emergency 'template' for my use on the PC. The HELP files included in the package were reasonably good, so not as much of a problem as it might have been. The keys (as you will have discovered) are definitely different, but you should be able to work your way around most of the problems. If your comment was re a copy for the PCs, I recommend you touch base with the author of SEDT (his 'credits' appear in the documentation, and also on-screen as you log out of SEDT if my memory serves me right) and ask for more details. The packages I saw contained KEY DEFINITION files for about 8 different keyboards, including RAINBOW, IBM generic, and the AT. The latest version(s) of SEDT were commercial, but at each new release of a later version, the previous versions were made available as public domain. Howard L. How are you doing? On the subject of SEDT, I have tried a couple different ways but still have not succeeded in getting it to edit files that exceed the size of main memory.
