If the object is saving money :-) you might want to look at a used
HP drive instead of a third party drive... there are a number of
HP re-market organizations which will guarantee that their
products will be accepted by HP on a support contract. (It is
my experience that you _might_ have to pay something to HP for
them to initially verify that the unit is operating properly...

One such organization is Eurodata in Ottawa (Canada).  There are
others, but ask specifically if they will guarantee HP service
acceptibility.  This is often a way of getting an HP product
(albeit probably not their latest model) at a non-HP price!
I have both bought and sold HP equipment through Eurodata and
have been generally quite satisfied.
