Message-ID: <2353@oucsace.cs.OHIOU.EDU> Date: 31 Oct 90 21:35:58 GMT Followup-To: poster Organization: Ohio University CS Dept., Athens Lines: 12 We have a computer lab here at O.U. with about 20 stand alone IBM pcs, model 880, yes I know, rather outdated. Quite frequently, students come in to use software that either requires, or works more efficiently with a terminal that has a graphics card. The department is considering installing graphics cards, but they would like to keep the cost to a minimum. They have asked me to get some information regarding this and at this point I know next to nothing about graphics cards. I would appreciate it if someone could email me some info and suggestions about inexpensive graphics cards that could be installed in the 880s. I suppose I should also mention that all of our monitors are monochrome. Thank you for your time. -Mark
