Upon returning from the non-window application (WordPerfect), my Logitech serial mouse would act rare. The cursor movement on the screen doesn't corresponse to the movement of the mouse. It would delay and move real fast, and sometime even seems to have some keystroke buffer up (Suddenly, the windows would move around and applications would be activated.). Windows 3.0 itself seems to be fine. I don't use the mouse and just use the keyboard, Windows 3.0 works flawlessly. This is not limited to WordPerfect. I have tried couple different non-window application (activated via the file manager of Windows 3.0). I suspect that the serial port that the mouse is connected is reset or the setting is changed when the non-window application is run. Doesn't that make any sense? Any idea what the problem is? And how to fix it? Speedy response is greatly appreciated. I have 7 days to return the system for a full refund (if it my hardware that causing the problem). Please don't tell me I didn't set up my non-window application correctly. I used Windows 3.0's setup program to set up WordPerfect. So, it should be correct.
