There is a program called 'Sputter' which is able to play Macintosh, Covox, and
some other sound files though the Sound Blaster, the Adlib, and I believe a few
other sound boards as well as the internal speaker.

I believe it is a shareware program, but I am not sure if you can get a copy
though anonymous ftp anywhere.
