Freehand has a list of patterns (I can't remember them exactly, but things like "coarse pebbles", "random leaves", "teeth", etc.) that are described with postscript commands and can be used for background fills. I investigated the postscript in the aldus prep file, and discovered what *looked* like bit maps for these patterns -- but replacing them with new bitmaps resulted in bizarre output. So, does anyone with some postscript knowledge know how to create new fill patterns?
