My boss would like to buy an easy-to-use(in the accounting sense)
accounting package for the Mac.  This is one of the steps he is
taking toward computerized management for his business.  He is
open to any software(commercial, share/free ware) that meets his
need, because he finds bookkeeping too tedious.

Do you have a recommendation?
