Hello,

Several users here have had problems getting gnuucp to dial.  I have found a
solution which works some of the time.

On my Practical Peripherals 2400 modem I needed to type:

AT&D1

to turn on the DTR tracking capabilities of that modem.  It seems that gnuucp
looks for DTR.  I tried the same on my Novation 2400 with no success though.
 It seems to be related to the modem.  I have been in contact with the author
and he is also looking into it.
