What about the folks who make the modular keyboards? Can't 
think of the name offhand but you'll find the thing listed in 
most any MacWhirled/MacUser magazine with the mail-order ads.
 
Don't know if the thing requires the keybaord module to be 
present for the other modules to work though. If the only 
processor is in the kybd that could be the case. Good luck.
