Void where prohibited. You'll do better solving your problem by getting some technical help, but you do have a problem. I have a PhoneNet LocalTalk network of five Macs connected by a FastPath to our campus Ethernet network. From my Mac, I can see every laserprinter on campus with a similar connection unless it is hidden. (I assume that you have not hidden your printer since you would have to take definite action to do so; renaming your printer to a name that ends with a tilde and clicking a box on your FastPath's configuration file that turns on the hidden-printer feature. Once the printer is hidden, it cannot be seen across the FastPath.) Note: when I say that I can see these printers, I mean that I can select them in my Chooser and print to them. I've done it by printing to a printer in another building. So, it can be done. But since there a number of things that could be set up incorrectly, you need to get someone who knows what s/he is doing to check out your installation. (Yesterday, I helped some experienced programmers set up such a connection. They tried to plug in through the modem port instead of the printer port. It was easier to go over and look at what they had done than to run through a long checklist of possible problems.) Steve Goldfield
