I visited APS here in KC after purchasing my SyQuest. (I was buying more cartridges.) I asked the guy how impact the resistant the cartridges are.. How took one, dropped it on the floor then threw it against the wall. It mounted just fine. (He never did answer back verbally :) ) I've dropped one a couple times and haven't had any problems. I have 5 cartridges and all have no problems.
