 I'm intending on Buying a Mac Classic in the near future, to replace
my old Mac Plus, and I want to know whether the Classic will be able to
display GIF pictures (which the plus, apparently, cannot). 

 What exactly stops the Mac Plus from being able to display GIF. Is
it the ROM? Or the monitor?

 Is the monitor on the Classic the same as the Plus? I heard that is
it was greyscale, is this true?
