Message-ID: <90306.141704AGO@SLACVM.SLAC.STANFORD.EDU> Date: 2 Nov 90 22:17:04 GMT Organization: Stanford Linear Accelerator Center Lines: 18 I'm currently looking at 19" color monitors and trying to make an intelligent purchase decision. The criteria are: Trinitron tube, refresh rate > 70 Hz, and 8 bit video. This month, Mirror Technologies starts shipping a new monitor of this class for under $ 3000. I don't suppose anybody has one yet, but I would be delighted if anybody out there in netland pur- chasing one this month would let me know his/her impressions. I am familiar with RasterOps, SuperMac, Radius and E-Machines, but haven't had the chance to use a monitor from MegaGraphics, PCPC, or Sigma Designs (any more brands???). Experience reports would be greatly appreciated. Romain C. Agostini Stanford Linear Accelerator Center Stanford University, California
