I was working on a stack this weekend and ran across a problem that I hope you
can help me with.  I am using HyperCard 2.0 with System (etc.) 6.0.5 on a Mac
SE.  The question is:  How do you enter/edit text in fields which have the
SharedText property set to true?

The fields can be edited when SharedText is not true, but the text disappears
when SharedText is set to true.  I have made sure that LockText is false and I
can't think of anything else to do.  Anybody got a fix?

(BTW I "hacked" around the problem by using Hypertext commands from the message
box to put text into the field, select parts of it to format, etc.  This was
incredibly awkward and I'm sure that it isn't "the answer.")

Please tell me what simple thing I am overlooking. :-)  Email suggestions and I
will summarize to the net.
