I'm running system version 6.05 on my Mac-IIx. My screen flashes every
time I attempt to launch an application under Multifinder. The
application doesn't get lauched and the screen keeps flashing till I
pound on the mouse button a couple of times. Would anyone know why
this is happening? I've had similar problems with earlier versions of
the system too.

I'm not a frequent reader of this news group, I'd appreciate a direct
