I've been simulating this by string concatenation, but of course then i cannot access these 'columns' individually. Has anyone done this, or know how to proceed? Basically, my problem is that the LDEF documentation in IM is too sketchy. I have found nothing to help me in UGMP or the technotes, either. any ideas? ps - before anyone flames me, let me swear fealty: "The list manager is not a spreadsheet" -JT
