Where is it? Well, I just checked, and many Adobe screen fonts, Palatino included, are available on sumex-aim. For those who may be unfamiliar with how to get there... Examine this script: on startUp -- Requires handler: getHomeInfo, checkForMissingFonts -- gets and sets the user's preferences getHomeInfo checkForMissingFonts -- inform user of missing fonts pass startUp -- so others can use it end startUp If one comments out that "checkForMissingFonts" call, HyperCard will no longer complain about any missing bitmaps. I run ATM, and got real tired real fast of HyperCard telling me that my screen was going to look crappy because I was missing the 24-point Palatino bitmap. Later in the home stack script, you will find the script for the "checkForMissingFonts" handler, so you could, if you wish, just edit out the references to Palatino in that handler. chaz -- Muammar Quadaffi and Cindi Lauper Seen Together in San Francisco.
