Message-ID: <3856.27300dab@cc.helsinki.fi> Date: 1 Nov 90 11:57:31 GMT Organization: University of Helsinki Lines: 23 I am now very enthusiastic about getting a NeXTStation. So much, in fact, that I would be willing to sell ALL my possessions to get one. I would probably get: Basic NeXTStation (estimated price $3200) Laser Printer (estimated price $1250) and an additional 300MB HD later ($1200 or so third party). The problem is, that I live in Finland and nobody sells the NeXTs here. So if somebody has bought NeXTs from other countries (for example people living in Europe bought from the U.S.) I would like to know how is it best done. (I need the educational discount, I am studying computer sciences in the University of Helsinki. And I will quite probably become a developer, too.) Is it possible to buy straight from NeXT? After I have sold my possessions (and earned some extra money) to get the system, I will have to live a bit ascetic life. But I think that could help me concentrate on the NeXT better. I think that getting a NeXT is a bit like buying pencils and paper - it is a basic thing. Jouni
