Disconnecting it has proved much more difficult for me. Anyway I deleted the stuff in /etc/netinfo (I figured it'd boot up in standalone mode, the way it came out of the box). Wrong! Well I can boot up the machine in single user mode so the niutil and nidomain programs can tell me that they cannot connect to localhost. Somebody help me, I want to take my machine home. Thanks.
