Hello,

thanks to those who wrote gcc-osf 1.8 and ported it to 3.3. It does not work
on 3.2, as it is hinted in the NOTES file as available from foobar.colorado.edu.
A preliminary fix that deals with ld not finding sys_siglist does not solve
the problem. Stage1 already crashes with *weird* errors.
Just to save you the work (or if you nevertheless managed it, to save ME the 
work, let me know ! 8-),
