I'm sure this subject has been brought up
already. I would like to have a pair of macros to delimit change
bars in LaTeX, as follows:

\BeginChangeBar
 The bar starts here.
 It is continuous except for page breaks.
 It is not broken at paragraph breaks.
 It appears in the righthand margin of both
 odd and even-numbered pages.
 The bar ends here.
\EndChangeBar

I would appreciate any help.
