My questions are this: 1) I have a 386sx with 8MB memory and about 30MB of disk space I could allocate to TeX, et. al. I am running Unix System V, Release 4.0. Does anyone know of a package that has actually been run on V.4? Given my machine limitations, which TeX would be best to get? I don't have FTP access, but I could probably get it for a while if that is my only hope. 2) I don't know much about TeX and DVI and fonts, etc. I have seen references to virtual fonts. What is the difference between virtual fonts and non-virtual? Can Postscript fonts be used with TeX? Can I get any of these features? Given all these considerations, can anyone recommend a good package to get, where I could get it from, and if there is any chance I could get it any other way than FTP. Post or e-mail me if you can help me out. Thanks, Scott Barnhart Domain : sbarnhar@solomon.Atlanta.NCR.COM NCR Corporation UUCP : ...!uunet!ncrlnk!ncratl!solomon!sbarnhar E&M Atlanta
