	This here's my first time.  Please bear with....and all that.

	I ain't sure what "Esix" is, but I have vpix running under AT&T (Oh boy)
SYSV-386 and had the same problem with WP(5.1).  (Except I got "random" cntrl-
chars, mostly @'s 'n such)

	It seems that WP (or vpix) has problems interpreting files retrieved 
from the "UNIX-psuedo" drives.  Doing all WP-work (i.e.
saving/retrieving files)
from one of vpix's psuedo drives (C:, D: - UNIX *files*) solves this problem
nicely.

annoyed than helpfull concerning my problem)
