When I try to bring up "dos" on a terminal (on console; not xterm), I get the error, "Configuration error - Press F1 to continue" After I hit F1, dos comes up but the left half of the screen is scrambled. (I see a lot of horizontal lines in the left half of the screen). I am using Cardinal VGA board (not VDC 600) and a Multiscan monitor. Though I am able to run UNIX satisfatorily with this configration (even X windows comes up with 640x480x16 colors resolution) I have not been very successful in tracking down this problem with Simultask. I looked into VP/ix environment guide but could not get any further. Could someone suggest possible reasons for this. Any info on this will be very much appreciated. Thanks. /*********************************************************************** *********/ /* Pete Sridharan sridhar%consl5.esg.dec.com@decwrl.dec.com */ /* Digital Equipment Corporation, Four Results Way, Marlboro, MA 01752 */ /* (WORK) 508-467-6684 (HOME) 508-653-7208 */ /*********************************************************************** *********/
