Hi. Does someone know if and how it is possible to access the contents of the BIOS of a PC'386 via C program under UNIX (Interactive UNIX and SCO UNIX)? I would like to get a few informations out of the BIOS, e.g. the version number, to calculate a checksum. The idea is to make a software package executable only on one PC. Any solutions? Any C programs ? Any other solutions to protect software from running on several PC's? Thanks. Peter.
