I have successfully built the GNU gcc compliler on a 386SX system 
running ESIX Sys5.3.2.D.  However, on attempting to build the g++ 
compiler I get the following message:

ld fatal: fail to write symbol name built_in_function in string 
table for file cc1plus

Gcc seems to be working fine.  I have recompiled gcc with itself.  
I have compiled the GNU make, some test programs, etc.

I am using the 1.37 release.  I am trying to use COFF and the collect 
option.

Any help would be appreciated,
