Message-ID: <3554@vela.acs.oakland.edu> Date: 29 Oct 90 04:12:39 GMT Reply-To: srodawa@vela.acs.oakland.edu (Ron Srodawa) Organization: Oakland University, Rochester MI Lines: 19 I am running Xenix System V/386 Release 2.3.2 and development system Release 2.3.0d. The Sosco SLS info file states that lng085 is no longer available, replaced by lng244. (Info last update=10/16/90). Now, lng085 was intended to upgrade Development System Release 2.3.0. Also, lng244.ltr states to apply this ONLY to DV Release 2.3.1. Now the questions? How do you get from DV Rlease 2.3.0 to 2.3.1? Is DV Release 2.3.0+lng085 = DV Release 2.3.1? Does anyone have a copy of lng085{.ltr .Z} as it has been deleted from sosco. Does it make sense to include new libraries and include files from lng244 but not the compiler phases? Would this result in a workable system? Would it be beneficial if one were using gcc rather than cc? Ron. -- | Ronald J.
