Scott,
     Are you looking to support a particular synthesizer or buying a new 
one as well?  In any case, you may want to take a look at flipper 
available from Omnichron at (415) 540-6455.  It takes about 50K, can be 
loaded into high memory, and supports a wide variety of synthesizers. 
Price is $395 and they will send a free demo copy.  My only complaint is 
the difficulty of obtaining telephone support (limitted to a few hours 
three times a week).
