As a sighted person, I have felt a little like a do on the street when a blind person passes, that is to say, curious about what your experi- ence is like. Obviously, wearing a blindfold for awhile won't tell me much about that; only a blind person can do that. And I don't know any blind people, other than you all. So maybe rather than arguing about the value of "blindfold" experiments, you could tell this sighted per- son something concrete about what day-to-day life is like for you -- you know, family, work, social life, meeting people, and so on. Look- ing forward to hearing from you. Steve -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!Steve.Petrica Internet: Steve.Petrica@hnews.fidonet.org
