liz get the interface package when you get your braille'n speak and I'd 
get an extra set of tweedle dump cables so you can hear the data 
transfers between the computer and the braille'n speak.  I used the 
braille'n speak during my first couple of months at LSC.  It functions 
as my backup speech synthesizer.  Ask Dean to recommend a screen reader 
that can drive it.  I know VOS, provox, and jaws can be used with it. 
Artic is an entity on to itself and I don't vert can be used with it. 
Really, the name of the game is portability.
