I am very interested as I said in upgrading the current speech equiptment I am using by switching to a new package all together. However, I am not really rolling in the bucks and I could get a lone, but it just isn't finantially wise at this point. I was wondering other than the Lions Club does anyone n\know of any organizations that will purchase or help purchase special equiptment? I am not just looking for speech software and hardware, but maybe even a scaner. If anyone has any suggestions I would be very greatful. I live in Maryland if that helps. I know at one time the Associated Services for the Blind in Pa. had such a grant from the government to buy computers and related devices only if they were to be used for personal not on the job use. However, I missed the boat. They don't help anyone outside of PA. any more do to some money trouble or something. I appreciate any info anyone can give me.
