Aragon is essentially a "store front" component manufacturer. All construction is contracted out, and when you send a component back to Aragon for repair, the repairs are sent out to a (local to Aragon) repair shop to be performed. However, Aragon components, especially their preamp, sound pretty good. I've heard some disconcerting noise coming from the outputs on 4004s I've heard (specifically, hum), but that may have been a peculiar combination of bad amp/efficient speaker; be sure to listen in your system before you buy.
