Penrose and I agree; if we produce one more mind, that makes it a fact.

Read the book? (cf RTM), He goes through a lot of Turing's work, Penrose
tiles, General Relatvity , Quantum Mechanics and attempts to reconcile
the latter two.  However, a scientist whom I trust tells me that the
thrust of Penrose's book is that the quantum effects of the brain give
us the mind.

Since Penrose does not believe in strong AI, he has nothing further
to say on the matter. Similarly, I am not going to discuss the type
of green cheese found in the Moon.
