Newsgroups: comp.binaries.ibm.pc.d Subject: Graphic Workshop glitch? Message-ID: <11335.2736d9aa@ecs.umass.edu> Date: 6 Nov 90 15:41:30 GMT Lines: 23 Has anyone found the following bugs with Graphic Workshop 4.x: a) Most hi-res GIF pictures can't be viewed. - most 256 color graphics beyond 300x200 b) Most WordPerfect graphics - all the files from the original WordPerfect 5.1 disks The program either states not enough memory or sometimes shows a blank screen. I have switched the settings to virtual, expanded and external with no results. I know I have a lot of memory. I've 2Megs and tested the program with hardly any device drivers and TSRs. The blank screen ones have been verified to be viewable with VUIMG. I am running an AST Premium 286 Model 140 w/2megs of RAM and a ATI VGAWonder 512. Can someone help me with this problem? -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Santanu Sircar BITNET: ssircar@umaecs.bitnet University of Massachusetts/Amherst INTERNET: ssircar@ecs.umass.edu |------------------------------------------------------------------------------| "A pig ate his fill of acorns under an oak tree and then started to root around the tree.
