Hi!  This summer I worked in a VMS-only environment (no flames,
please!), and I grew quite fond of EVE, the Extensible VAX Editor.  

I would LIKE to find a sharewqare/freeware port to MS-DOS of this
editor.  Does anyone know where it can be found?

Before you flame me, I HAVE checked the index files at several ftp
sites, but these files do not list anything like EVE, so far as I
could tell.
