They rerouted to satellite to get around this. This cable carried the link from EUNET to the Internet via Alternet and also the link from NORDUNET to the US (through NEARNET??). Therefore, most European traffic to the US is running much slower. We haven't heard any uptime on this. It has been on satellite since last Tuesday. Paul A.
