Usenet isn't even close to the journal you propose, and can't be hammered into such a shape even if you have Mjollnir at your disposal. (For the mythology- impaired, Mjollnir was Thor's hammer; Thor was the Norse god of thunder.) The rest of us seem to get along just fine with Usenet as it is. What's your beef?
