Try this, in vanilla KCL:


    > (defun foo () least-positive-short-float)
    FOO
    
    > (compile 'foo)
    End of Pass 1.  
    End of Pass 2.  
    Error: Floating-point exception.
    Error signalled by LOAD.
    
I know that error is generated in read.d, but that's all. Does anyone have a 
fix?
