I've got an LC-890 that I'd like to upgrade if possible. Does the new level just require pasting the old back end code on, or is there a difference at the engine connection? How much difference is there in the size of the code? Will the ROM slots on the older printers be big enough for the newer code? And while on the subject of NEC parts, has anyone gotten service documentation for NEC laser printers? In particular, an exploded parts diagram and information on how to change the toner station. How do I get this and what does it cost? Ken (shiva@well.sf.ca.us)
